Hockey roster management, lines & team balancing
Once the game is scheduled, the next question is always: who's playing, and on which side?
Player profiles
Each player gets a hockey profile: position, skill level, stick hand, and preferred position. Track jersey name, number, and size so team gear orders don't need a group-chat spreadsheet, plus height and weight so equipment is right the first time. Players can set a home location to see how far they'd travel to each rink.
Roster management
Add and manage members, approve join requests, and assign team admins. Track registered players and guest players separately, and export the full roster to CSV — contacts, jersey sizes, and balances included.
Game-day lineups
Assign players to white or black and set forward lines for each game. The roster image is shareable — post the game sheet to your group chat as a picture. And with one tap, RinkTime's built-in AI balancer splits the roster into two even sides using each player's skill level, position, and stick hand.
Team admin tools
Team organizers control everything: rosters, games, fees, and announcements. Promote and demote admins, remove members, and keep the team list tidy. Teams can stay public or private — keep your team hidden, or open it to discovery.
Common questions
The answers team organizers actually ask.
Why organizers use it
A spreadsheet breaks the moment someone calls out or a guest sub shows up. With player profiles, auto-promoted waitlists, and one-tap AI balancing, the roster stays current without anyone re-sending a stale attachment to the group chat.
