Privacy Policy for RinkTime

BlueLineLabs ("RinkTime", rink-time.com) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting player, captain, and league data in compliance with Apple App Store Review Guidelines and Google Play Developer Policies.

1. Information We Collect

To provide team scheduling, instant RSVPs, and roster balancing services, RinkTime collects:

  • Account Details: Name/nickname, email address, preferred position, jersey size/number, and skill level provided upon registration via Firebase Authentication or Apple/Google Sign-In.
  • Roster & Game Event Data: Game schedules, venue locations, RSVP statuses ("In", "Out", "Maybe"), and team roster assignments stored securely in Cloud Firestore.
  • Device & Notification Tokens: Device registration tokens used solely for Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) and native iOS push notifications (game reminders, join requests, chat alerts).
  • Location Data: Arena search locations used locally for venue mapping via Google Maps API. We do not track background location.

2. Third-Party Service Providers

We utilize trusted third-party service providers solely to operate app functionality:

  • Firebase (Google Cloud): Authentication, Firestore database storage, and Cloud Messaging.
  • Google Maps API: Arena location rendering and address search.
  • Google Gemini AI: Non-identifying roster balancing and bilingual comment translation (data is not used to train global AI models).

3. Tracking & Data Sharing (ATT Compliance)

RinkTime does NOT track users across third-party apps or websites for advertising purposes, nor do we sell, rent, or trade your personal data.

You can manage or revoke push notification or location permissions at any time inside your iOS System Settings (Settings → RinkTime).

4. Account Deletion & Data Rights

You have full ownership of your data. You may request the complete deletion of your account and personal data at any time:

  • In-App Deletion: Navigate to My Page → Delete Account inside the RinkTime app.
  • Email Request: Send an account deletion request to info@bluelinelabs.app. Upon request, all profile records, team memberships, and push tokens will be permanently removed from our active databases within 30 days.
