Hockey game scheduling, RSVPs & waitlists

Coordinating a game night is the hardest part of running a team. RinkTime makes it the easiest.

Schedule games in seconds

Create single games or schedule many at once. Set the date, time, and length of each game, attach a location with a map players can open in their maps app, and record the opposing team and final score after the buzzer.

Open signups, watch the roster fill

Open and close signups whenever you like. Players RSVP from their phone in one tap — join or cancel. Rosters are auto-capped: when the spots are full, late players go to a waitlist. Goalie rules are built in — signups cap at two goalies, and goalies who play free are a checkbox away. Waiting list players are automatically promoted when a spot opens, so there's no manual reshuffling.

Nobody misses the game

Automatic reminders go to signed-up players two hours before puck drop, as push notifications on Android and the web (iOS coming soon). Every player sees their next game the moment they open the app.

Past games, next games

A running schedule history makes the whole season easy to look back on. Import last week's roster into the next game with one click, and player cards make it easy to see who's in, who's out, and who's on the fence.

Common questions

The answers team organizers actually ask.

How do waitlists work?
When a game is full, additional signups go on the waitlist. If a player cancels, the first player on the waitlist is promoted automatically and notified.
Who is RinkTime for?
Recreational hockey teams of any kind — ice, roller, or ball hockey — plus players looking to find a team. It's especially popular with beer-league teams and pickup organizers.
Can players be on more than one team?
Yes. Players can join multiple teams and see each team's schedule, chat, and balances separately.

Why organizers use it

Game night coordination usually lives in a group chat: signups buried, waitlists managed by hand, reminders sent twice because half the team missed them. RinkTime moves all of it into one place where the game lives — so the captain does less and nobody misses puck drop.
