BlueLineLabs ("Over The Boards", "we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information in our mobile and wearable applications across iOS, watchOS, Android, and Wear OS.

1. 100% Offline & Privacy-First Architecture

Over The Boards operates as a 100% offline application. We do not operate external databases, user account servers, or cloud analytics services for personal telemetry data.

  • All telemetry processing, shift detection algorithms, cardiac recovery calculations, and player profile data remain strictly local to your device.
  • We do not collect, sell, rent, or transmit your health, biometric, location, or personal information to any third parties, advertisers, or data brokers.

2. Apple HealthKit & CoreMotion Integrations (iOS & watchOS)

For iOS and watchOS users, Over The Boards requests access to Apple HealthKit and CoreMotion frameworks solely with your explicit permission:

  • HealthKit Access: The app reads Heart Rate (HKQuantityTypeIdentifierHeartRate) and Workout Session (HKWorkout) data solely to calculate hockey shift timing, bench rest efficiency, cardiac strain, and stamina recovery metrics.
  • HealthKit Privacy Guarantee: In strict compliance with Apple App Store Guideline 5.1.1(ix), data obtained from Apple HealthKit will never be used for marketing, advertising, or shared with third-party data brokers.
  • CoreMotion & Motion Analytics: Wearable wrist acceleration and rotational velocity (gyroscope) data are analyzed locally during games to evaluate skating cadence and motion dynamics. Motion data is processed on-device and is never transmitted off your device.

3. Google Health Connect & Wear OS Integrations (Android)

For Android and Wear OS users, Over The Boards requests access to Google Health Connect with your explicit permission:

  • Health Connect Access: Reads Heart Rate and Exercise Session data solely to compute hockey shift intervals and athletic recovery metrics.
  • Policy Compliance: Our use of Health Connect data adheres to the Google Health Connect Permissions Policy, including strict Limited Use requirements.

4. Data Control, Deletion & Permission Revocation

You maintain full control over your data at all times:

  • Deleting Data: You can delete individual game sessions inside the app at any time. Uninstalling the app permanently erases all local database records.
  • Revoking iOS Access: On iOS, you can manage or revoke access at any time via Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Over The Boards.
  • Revoking Android Access: On Android, permissions can be managed at any time via Settings → Health Connect → App permissions → Over The Boards.

5. Children’s Privacy

Over The Boards does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app functions offline without account registration.
